We understand that privacy is important for our visitors and we never intend to misuse it or sell it to any third party/person under any circumstances. Here, we would like to inform our visitors about the types of data we receive and collect when they visit this website.

Log Files

As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files of the visitors. The information in the log files include the IP (Internet Protocol) address, the ISP (Internet Service Provider, the browser (such as the Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera or Chrome) the visitors use to visit the website, the duration of the time visited and the different types of pages visited on the website.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We do use cookies to store information, such as visitors’ personal preferences when they visit this website.

We also use third party advertisements on this website to support its operational costs. Some of these advertisers, including Google through Google Adsense may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on this website. The cookies and web beacons send the information about the visitors’ log files to these advertisers. This is generally used for geo-targeting purposes or for showing certain ads based on specific websites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).

DoubleClick DART cookies

We also may use DART cookies for ad serving through Google’s DoubleClick, which places a cookie on the visitors’ computers when they are browsing the web and visiting a website using DoubleClick advertising (including some Google AdSense advertisements). This cookie is used to serve ads specific to visitors and their interests, which is known as “interest based targeting.” The ads served will be targeted based on the previous browsing history. DART uses “non-personally identifiable information” only. It does NOT track personal information about the visitor, such as the name, email address, physical address, telephone number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card numbers. Visitors can opt-out of this ad serving on all sites using this advertising by visiting the following links:

Visitors can choose to disable or selectively turn off the cookies or third-party cookies in their browser settings, or by managing preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. Deleting cookies does not mean visitors are permanently opted out of any advertising program. Unless they have settings that disallow cookies, the next time they visit a website running the advertisements, a new cookie will be added.
